Open doors
through learning.
Access to learning resources, digital skills and guidance that help children and young people explore their potential.
Make a difference ↗◎ LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS. INTERNATIONAL PURPOSE.
Every child deserves a chance to thrive. Every community deserves the opportunity to shape its future.
We work to transform lives in underserved communities through education, health and economic development.
With communities.
For lasting opportunity.

It starts with
a fairer chance.
Education ✳ Health ✳ Economic opportunity
WHY VILLAGE CHILD INTERNATIONAL
Where a child is born should not decide what their future can become.
Village Child International’s mission reaches beyond one place or one project. We support underserved communities internationally through three connected areas: education, health and economic development.
Our approach begins with listening, building local relationships and identifying practical ways to remove barriers. The goal is stronger communities, with the capacity to shape what comes next.
How we approach the work ↘THREE PILLARS. A CONNECTED MISSION.
Learning, wellbeing and livelihoods reinforce one another. Our mission brings them together.
Access to learning resources, digital skills and guidance that help children and young people explore their potential.
Health education, prevention and access to essential resources that support healthier children, families and communities.
Practical skills, entrepreneurship and community-led livelihoods that help families build more secure futures.
Our mission framework. Active projects and future priorities are identified separately.
OUR PURPOSE, PUT INTO PRACTICE
Every project is part of a bigger purpose. Here is one of the ways we are working to bridge a gap in opportunity.
REAL PROJECT PHOTOGRAPHY · KYANIKA, KENYAEDUCATION BUILDING IN PROGRESS
North American Bancard (North) donated the computers. Now we need to complete the Computer Learning Center at Kyanika Primary School: a secure place for students to learn and for the equipment to be safely stored.
A practical step toward bridging the digital divide—and one expression of VCI’s international mission.
$12,500 raised & used for construction · $35,000 total budget

WITH GRATITUDE · COMPUTER DONOR
Technology donated. Opportunity waiting.
Thank you to North American Bancard (North) for donating computers for the learning center.
International in purpose. Local in partnership.
VCI’s mission is not limited to Kenya. Each project gives that broader purpose a practical expression.
HOW CHANGE TAKES ROOT
Lasting progress starts with the people who know their community best.
Understand local priorities, strengths and the barriers people want to overcome.
Define the work, the resources it needs and the people responsible for delivery.
Communicate milestones, challenges and what comes next, with room to adapt.
TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY
Your support deserves a clear picture of what has been funded, what it has made possible and what is still needed.
